In light of an increase of new members, we would like to share some of the guild activities which can be rather confusing to newcomers (as well as those of us who have been around awhile).

Terry Library Quilt Show and Exhibit

Held periodically at Adolphine Fletcher Terry Library in Little Rock for members of the guild to display their quilts. Generally, this is a judged event with ribbon awards given for categories of quilts.

AWOL

Short for “Arkansas Women on the Loose! And Men, too!” - this is a retreat that is held during the Spring and/or Fall. It is an opportunity to sit and sew on personal projects from Friday through Sunday. Again, there is lodging and meals available on the premises, although day-only options are available, too.

Community Service

Each year we make quilts for good causes. Everyone is invited to help in different areas from piecing tops to sandwiching a quilt, to actually quilting one or more!

Challenges

Guild challenges are a way to participate in all things fabric and quilting related. We’ve had block-of-the-month challenges, mystery quilts, artistic challenges and so much more!
