Community Service

Our community service project for the year is Dorcas House.

Kits are available to take at each guild meeting.  Talk to the chair of community service during the meeting to receive of the kits.  It includes pre-cut fabric for the quilt top only.  The quilt top can be quilted and bound by the recipient of the kit, or the completed top can be returned and individuals can be found to do the finishing.

There are also patterns available to members to use their own fabric.  If you would like to use your own pattern, we accept those too!  Just make sure the quilt is within the size requirements.

We will also accept any other finished quilts that you would like to donate.  All donation quilts will be given to an appropriate recipient.

Community Service Block Drive

Contribute to our community service this year by making blocks to put together into larger quilts. We will be making Shoo Fly blocks.

Make 20 Grayscale Blocks for a 40" x 50" quilt, or 25 blocks for a 50" x 50" quilt.
