Program: Meet Your Member by Nancy Sahrakar

Workshop: Community Service Workday

Monday, February 9th from 9:00 till we are done.

Meet in our meeting room at the NLR Community Center.

Bring a sewing machine if you can, and supplies, along with neutral threads.

We will be working on preparing existing donated quilt tops for quilting.

Projects are:

• Piecing donated yardage to create quilt backings

• Piecing donated batting remnants into quilt sizes

• Binding quilts

• Choosing a fabric bundle to make a quilt top (think about bringing a pattern so you can get started)

• Menstrual Bags - We will be making these for the Arkansas Period Poverty group to distribute menstrual products to those in need. The pattern, fabrics and ribbon will be provided. Click here to view the pattern.
